Backsplash Styles We Install

  • Subway tile in classic stacked, offset or herringbone layouts.
  • Mosaics in glass, stone or porcelain.
  • Natural stone such as marble or travertine.
  • Large-format porcelain or slab-look tile for a clean, low-grout look.
  • Accent areas behind ranges or bars.

How Installation Works

Measure and choose

We measure the wall area, note outlets, windows and cabinet edges, and help you pick tile and grout color.

Prep

We protect counters and appliances, remove an old backsplash if there is one, and repair or prepare the wall so it is flat and sound.

Layout and set

Layout is planned so cuts are balanced at the ends and around outlets, then the tile is set and left to cure.

Grout, seal and finish

We grout, seal where the material calls for it, caulk the counter joint, and reinstall outlet covers. Most kitchen backsplashes are finished in a short visit.

Tips for Choosing a Backsplash

  • Bring a cabinet door or counter sample to the showroom, or let us bring tile to you, so you can compare colors in your own light.
  • Busy granite counters usually pair best with a simple tile; plain quartz counters can handle a bolder pattern.
  • Darker or stain-resistant grout is easier to keep clean behind a range.
  • Decide early whether the tile stops at the cabinet edge or runs to the ceiling on open walls.

Part of a Bigger Project?

Backsplash FAQ

How long does backsplash installation take?

Most kitchen backsplashes take one to two visits, with time between for the thin-set to cure before grouting.

Can you install over my existing backsplash?

Sometimes, but removing the old tile usually gives a cleaner, flatter result. We will check during the estimate.

Do I need to empty my counters?

Yes, please clear the counters along the walls being tiled. We protect the counter surface during the work.
