Kitchen Remodeling in Centennial & Denver Metro

A kitchen remodel touches almost every trade in the house: cabinets, counters, tile, flooring, lighting, plumbing and sometimes walls. Floor & More handles kitchen remodeling for homeowners in Centennial and across the Denver Metro, with cabinets, flooring and tile coming from our own showroom so you are not coordinating three or four separate companies.

What a Kitchen Remodel With Us Can Include

  • Cabinets: new cabinetry from the lines we carry, including Highland Cabinetry and J&K10 Cabinetry, plus layout changes, islands and pantry storage. See our kitchen cabinetry and installation page.
  • Countertops: templating and installation coordinated with the cabinet schedule so the kitchen is not out of service longer than it needs to be.
  • Backsplash: tile, stone or large-format panels, installed by our tile crew. More on our backsplash installation page.
  • Flooring: tile, luxury vinyl plank or hardwood that holds up to spills and foot traffic. Compare options on our tile, vinyl and hardwood installation pages.
  • Demolition and prep: tear-out, haul-away and subfloor repair. See interior demolition.
  • Finishing: trim, paint touch-ups and fixture installation so the room is ready to use.

How the Process Works

1. Consultation and measurements

We visit your home or meet you at the Centennial showroom to talk about how you use the kitchen, what is not working, and your budget range. We take measurements so the plan and quote are based on your actual room.

2. Design and selections

You choose cabinet style and finish, counters, backsplash and flooring, ideally with samples side by side. Seeing everything together prevents the common problem of a floor that clashes with the cabinets once both are installed.

3. Written quote and schedule

You receive a written quote that lists what is included. Once you approve it, we order materials and set a schedule. Cabinet lead times usually drive the start date, so we confirm those before demolition begins.

4. Demolition through install

Typical order: tear-out, any plumbing or electrical rough-in by licensed trades, flooring (when it runs under the cabinets), cabinets, countertops, backsplash, then trim and fixtures. We keep you updated at each stage.

5. Walkthrough

We walk the finished kitchen with you and take care of any punch-list items.

Planning Tips for Colorado Kitchens

  • Dry air and wood: Front Range humidity is low. Solid hardwood and wood cabinets need time to acclimate, and engineered or vinyl floors are more forgiving in kitchens.
  • Flooring before or after cabinets: floating floors usually go in after cabinets; tile and glue-down floors often go under them. We plan this up front so nothing has to be redone later.
  • Lighting and outlets: under-cabinet lighting and backsplash outlets are much easier to add while walls are open.
  • Living without a kitchen: set up a temporary station with a microwave and coffee maker; the timeline depends on scope and cabinet delivery.

Kitchen Remodeling FAQ

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

It depends mostly on scope and cabinet lead time. A cabinet-and-counter refresh is shorter than a remodel that moves walls or plumbing. We give you a schedule with your quote.

Can I keep my layout and just update finishes?

Yes. Keeping plumbing and appliance locations is usually the most budget-friendly option and still makes a big visual difference.

Do you handle permits?

When the scope requires permits, such as structural, electrical or plumbing changes, we coordinate them with licensed trades.

Can I see cabinets and flooring in person?

Yes. Our Centennial showroom has cabinet, tile and flooring samples, and we can also bring samples to your home.
